I wrote up some early thoughts for Pitchfork today. I don’t like doing “on first listen” pronouncements, but on first listen, this record is going to massive, really important and big until mid-March. Then it’ll be quiet for a while. Then it’ll come back late October and be HUGE. Just think, you’ll get to buy this record under an Obama presidency. Or maybe a McCain one. If that happens I’ll probably be doing this instead of buying Animal Collective records.
