I started in music editorial — writing, assigning, and editing pieces for Pitchfork, Stereogum, MTV Hive, Paper Thin Walls. I also wrote music pieces for Spin, NPR, Thirteen, Nylon, The Fader, and a bunch of websites and magazines that have since closed.

After that I joined Songza, a music playlist startup, and was part of their aquisition by Google. I spent the next seven(!!) years at Google Play Music, and then at YouTube Music.

I am currently taking some time off to work on some personal projects, listen to K-pop and learn Korean.

While I'm on a break I do still love to work on cool things, so please get in touch if you need any help.

Some of my other interests:
abandoned buildings / ghost towns
film photography
unusual / funny / strange vacation tours
k-pop
k-beauty
